SAPTARI, March 31 - At least four persons were killed and twenty-three others injured in a passenger bus mishap at Sitapur in Saptari district on Monday.Three of them died on the spot, while another one died on his way to hospital for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Tek Bahadur Gurung of Damak in Jhapa district, a Bangladeshi national, and a conductor of the bus.
The passenger (Na 2 Kha 9729) bus belonging to Saubhagi Travels was heading for Jhapa from the capital when it lost control and hit a nearby tree at around 6 this morning.
Thirteen passengers, who were seriously injured, were rushed to BP Koirala Memorial Hospital in Dharan for treatment, Police said.
The other 10 injured are undergoing treatment at Sagarmatha Zonal hospital in Rajbiraj.
